The Introduction to Internet of Things Engineering

I. Training Objectives

  This major cultivates high-quality applied and compound senior professional talents who support the party's basic line, develop morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically; have good scientific and cultural literacy, professional ethics and solid basic cultural knowledge; have the awareness and ability to acquire new knowledge and skills, are able to adapt to the changing work needs, have the basic ability to solve technical problems independently, master the professional knowledge and skills in the development, production, installation, commissioning and maintenance of the Internet of things, have the professional skills in the fields of information and communication engineering, electronic science and technology, computer science and technology, and are able to work from the front line of Internet of things industry.

II. Training Specifications and Requirements

 

  Knowledge Requirements

  1. To master instrumental and technical knowledge of foreign languages, computers, scientific writing and scientific methods;

  2. To master the knowledge of history, philosophy, politics and other humanities and social sciences;

  3. To master the knowledge of mathematics, physics and other natural sciences;

  4.To master economic management knowledge such as economics and management;

  5. To master the necessary professional knowledge in the fields of information and communication engineering, electronic science and technology, computer science and technology, operation and maintenance of the internet of things, software and service of the internet of things.

  Capacity Requirements

  1. To have the ability of acquiring knowledge through self-study, expression, literature retrieval and utilization;

  2. To have ability of comprehensive application, comprehensive experiment, comprehensive engineering practice and other application knowledge;

  3. To have ability of innovative thinking, innovative practice, scientific research and development, etc.

  Quality Requirements

  1. To have good ideological and moral quality, including politics, ideology, morality, legal system, integrity and other aspects;

  2. To have basic cultural quality, including cultural accomplishment, literary accomplishment, modern consciousness, rational thinking, etc;

  3. To have good professional quality, mainly including scientific quality and engineering quality.

  4. To have good physical and mental quality, including physical and psychological aspects.

 

 

III. Main Subjects and Core Courses

 

Main subjects : information and communication engineering, electronic science and technology, computer science and technology

Core courses: algorithm and data structure, operating system, microcomputer principle and interface technology, embedded system principle, sensor principle and application, database principle and application, communication principle, computer composition and network, RFID technology and application, communication technology of internet of things

IV. Main Practical Teaching Items

  Practical teaching items: professional practice, practical training, social investigation, military training, professional intensive training links, graduation thesis (design), etc. Practical teaching items are calculated by the teaching week and are not included in the total class hours.

V  Length of Schooling and Degree

Length of schooling: four years

Degree: Bachelor of Engineering

VI Graduation Standards

  1. To meet the professional requirements of knowledge, ability and quality.

  2. To complete all the teaching items specified in the training program, with the total credits not less than 170.

  3. To obtain no less than 6 credits of innovation and entrepreneurship education.
