The College of Law has set up an undergraduate major (Law) and a junior college (three -year program) major (Legal Affairs); since 2016, it has been approved to jointly train students to get master's degree. The law major of the College is a key construction discipline project of the provincial government.
The college adheres to the cultivation of application-oriented high-level legal talents, and has long-term and comprehensive cooperation with famous law schools around the cultivation of legal practical working ability; By scientifically integrating teaching resources, standardizing daily course teaching and paying close attention to practical teaching, we have achieved a series of excellent achievements in discipline construction and talent cultivation.1) completed the construction of one key discipline in the 12th Five - Year Plan period in Jiangxi Province; 2) set up two provincial excellent courses; 3）presided over and undertaken more than 20 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, such as the National Social Science Fund; 4）won five teaching and scientific research awards, such as the first prize of provincial teaching achievement and Provincial Social Science Achievement Award; 5) got four master supervisors, 90% of whom are "double qualified" teachers of lawyers and corporate legal advisers.
The college has vigorously promoted and improved practical teaching, it has established practical teaching bases such as legal advisory center, legal association and moot court, carried out a series of activities such as authentic case teaching and court debate competition, and established practical teaching bases in cooperation with a number of provincial and municipal courts, procuratorates, notarization and arbitration institutions, law firms and intellectual property agency companies. Relying on the advantages of scientific research, the college gathers all kinds of high-quality resources, shapes legal elites, drives students to participate in project research, enriches academic foundation, cultivates research and development ability in the law field.
