College of Music currently has three majors for undergraduates: Musicology, Acting and Dancing, and two majors for junior college students (three-year programme): Music Performance and Dance Performance. Totally there are more than 1000 students on campus.

The college has a faculty pool composed of different age-ranged teachers who  are qualified for and professional in teaching and guiding practice. 7 teachers among them are with senior professional titles, 14 with associate senior titles, 22 teachers with a master’s degree or above, and 21 teachers with double qualifications. There are 13 members of Chinese Musicians Association, Jiangxi Musicians Association, Jiangxi Vocal Music Committee and Jiangxi Chorus Committee, 3 members of Jiangxi Dancers Association, 4 members of the Chinese Opera Artists Association and Jiangxi Opera Artists Association.

College of Music is well equipped with 120 teaching facilities, including ensemble classroom, chorus classroom, instrumental music performance classroom, dance practice room, piano room, video rehearsal room, audio and video production studio, electric piano room, computer room, multimedia room and so on.

College of Music pays attention to the cultivation of students’ comprehensive quality and their practical operational ability, so its graduates are warmly welcomed by their employers.
