He is a member of China Musicians Association, director of Jiangxi Musicians Association, director of Jiangxi Chorus Association, director of Aesthetic Education Professional Committee of China Higher Education Association, and member of Standing Committee of Jiangxi Art Education Committee.

For decades, he has been engaged in music creation, performance and teaching. He has published more than 2000 pieces of music pieces and won many national and provincial arts awards.
