Founded in 2015，the Business Administration College of Nanchang Institute of Technology aims to cultivate and bring up innovative and entrepreneurial managers .With the goal of becoming an important business college to cultivate business elites，the college strives to build itself into a first-class and nationally renowned business administration college with equal emphasis on teaching，scientific research,training and consulting.
At present,the college has more than 1600 students, including more than 800 undergraduates and 800 junior college (3-year program) students.There are more than 90 full-time and part-time teachers, including more than 30 teachers with senior professional titles, more than 70 with doctoral or master's degrees and 78% of them have doctoral or master's degrees. Experts，scholars and enterprise elites with profound academic attainments and rich experience from famous universities such as Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China are invited to serve as management consultants and adjunct professors.
The college has professional characteristics. At present, there are three undergraduate majors in business administration, marketing and international economy and trade, and four specialties in business enterprise management, marketing, international economy and trade, and logistics management.Business administration，marketing， international economy and trade specialties all have the right to award bachelor's degree. Among them, business administration ranks the fourth in the "Comprehensive Evaluation of Undergraduate Major of Jiangxi Provincial Education Department", and the majors of business administration and marketing are "Characteristic Majors of Colleges and Universities of Jiangxi Province". The three specialties of our college，namely business administration，marketing, international economy and trade, are included in the separate enrollment of vocational junior colleges(3-year program) in Jiangxi Province in 2020.
The college lays emphasis on scientific research.It has successively served as provincial research projects of Jiangxi Provincial Education Department，and Science and Technology Department，etc. Among them,23 provincial-level projects were approved and concluded;22 provincial awards and 4 patents were obtained.From September 2015 to now,teachers of the college have published more than 100 essays in journals at or above the provincial level，and won the first and second prizes in 2016 National Applied Talents Comprehensive Skills Competition and Teacher Maker Courseware Competition.
The college pays attention to the cultivation of student talents. In the past five years,the college has trained more than 4500 students of various fields.We organized students to actively study scientific issues in college, encouraged them to actively participate in various national applied professional skills competitions. They won the first prize in 2015,2016,2018 and 2019 National Applied Professional Skills Competitions,and 39 provincial awards.The college adheres to the cooperation among production，education and research，and attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' practical ability during the college period; adhere to the "three combination"training mode of systematic knowledge and target needs,teaching and educating，learning and experience interaction.Open education, build a "double tutor" talent training system combining innovative classroom teachers and social mentors，establish "triple helix"fusion mechanism of universities，enterprises and government，probe into the enterprise and the entrepreneur "zero distance"case study. Then, students' learning enthusiasm and mission could be stimulated , the content of student learning practice could be enriched, and students’ practical decision-making ability could be strengthened. Thus, the employment competitiveness of students has been improved, which is highly praised by enterprises and other employers. The one-time employment rate reaches 94%.
The institution of the college is well established. It has six management and service organizations， including party and administration office，educational administration department, engineering department, recruitment service Department, labor union and Youth League Committee.The college has a management teaching experiment and training center with many experimental and training rooms and advanced multimedia teaching equipment, including ERP sand table simulation laboratory，marketing simulation laboratory，business negotiation and training room，management simulation laboratory，international trade comprehensive laboratory,office automation laboratory，entrepreneurship trip laboratory. There is also a large comprehensive library with a collection of 3.1 million books. Students' practical ability，organization, implementation ability and practical application ability are cultivated by strengthening the construction of software and hardware teaching equipment and adopting advanced practical teaching means.
