Ⅰ. Training Objectives

This major adapts to the construction needs of national economy and social development, and pays attention to the development of students' comprehensive quality. It cultivates high-quality application-oriented management talents with the basic knowledge of management, economy and law related to civil engineering technology and engineering construction management, basic training of leading engineer in project management，certain practical ability, organization management ability and innovation and entrepreneurship ability, and engaging in the whole process of project decision-making management and operation in the field of engineering construction.

Ⅱ. Training Specifications and Requirements

Knowledge Requirements

1. Master the knowledge of civil engineering and related engineering technology;

2. Master the theory, laws and regulations related to project cost;

3. Master the basic knowledge and professional knowledge, professional technology and methods of engineering cost.

Capability Requirements

1.Have the ability to engage in the whole process of construction project cost management, project feasibility study, investment analysis, project bidding and tendering, project management, engineering audit and engineering consultation;

2.Master the basic methods of literature retrieval and data query, and have the ability of preliminary scientific research and practical work；

3.Have a certain foreign language foundation, have the ability to read the relevant foreign language literature of the major；

4.Have the basic ability of using computer to solve engineering cost and related problems；

5.Have strong self-study ability, innovative spirit, language and written expression, interpersonal communication and certain social activity ability；

6. Gain basic knowledge of professional qualification of engineering cost professionals in related industries.

III. Main Subjects and Main Courses

Main disciplines: engineering economics, engineering contract management, engineering measurement and pricing, engineering cost management

Main courses: construction project management, engineering safety and environmental protection, engineering quota principle, construction methods and organization, computer aided engineering cost, building equipment, building structure, building regulations, building information modeling (BIM) technology application.

IV. Main Practical Teaching Items

Practice Teaching: including professional practice, practical training, social investigation, military training, comprehensive training of civil engineering drawing, course design of housing architecture, architectural structure design, curriculum design of architectural construction , BIM , civil engineering budget, engineering bidding, installation engineering budget, and project cost case analysis, social investigation and professional practice, production practice, graduation thesis (Design).The practical teaching links are calculated according to the teaching weeks and are not included in the total credits (class hours) in the class.

Length of Schooling: four years

Credits: no less than 170 credits in this major;

Degree: management

VI. Graduation Standard

1. Meet the requirements of professional knowledge, ability and quality.

2. Complete all teaching links specified in the training program, and the total credits shall not be less than 170 points.

3. Obtain no less than 6 credits of innovative and entrepreneurship education.
