Ⅰ. Training Objectives

This major cultivates professional technical personnel in water conservancy and hydropower engineering who meet the needs of social development, have comprehensive development of morality, intelligence, physique and beauty, have professional knowledge and ability in civil engineering, master the basic professional skills in civil engineering, and be competent for professional work in design, construction, management, BIM administrator and other positions in housing construction, road, bridge and municipal engineering.

Ⅱ. Training Specifications and Requirements

It mainly includes the specific requirements that students should achieve in knowledge, ability and quality.

Knowledge Requirements

1.Maintain the basic theory of natural science, humanities and social science, and gain foreign language comprehensive ability and computer application knowledge;

2.Master the basic theory and knowledge of engineering mechanics, structural mechanics, engineering geology and engineering drawing;

3.Understand the theoretical knowledge and skill training of civil engineers in each major discipline;

4.Obtain at least one certificate of construction technician for construction projects (construction worker, cost worker, material worker, quality inspector, safety officer, data worker, etc.) at the same time as obtaining the diploma of this major

Capability Requirements

1.Master the basic knowledge of civil engineering materials, structural calculation, structural design and computer application, and initially have the ability to engage in the design and research of civil engineering;

2.Master the ability of engineering survey, construction technology and construction organization, project budget, engineering design, construction, test, research and management;

3.Have a certain application of relevant knowledge, technology and skills to solve social and production practice problems;

4.Obtain the basic knowledge and skills training to participate in national structural engineer, constructor, supervision engineer, cost engineer, etc. aiming at the examination and education of national professional registration qualification certificate.

Quality Requirements

1.Love the Communist Party of China; and the socialist motherland; master Marxism Leninism, Mao Zedong thought, Deng Xiaoping theory and the important thought of "Three Represents"; adhere to the scientific outlook on development, have a scientific world outlook, a correct outlook on life and noble moral quality;
