Graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages of Jiangxi Normal University in 1976, he is currently the executive director of the Chinese Research Society of Functional Linguistics, the vice president of the Jiangxi Translation Association, an part-time professor at the College of Foreign Languages of Sun Yat-sen University, and the Guest professor of Jinggangshan University, Guizhou Ethnic Institute, East China University of Technology, Jingdezhen College, outstanding master instructor in Jiangxi Province, and he completed more than 10 provincial scientific research projects in recent years, 4 projects which is still researching, published more than 20 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals, 4 books. In 2012, the project, “ Elementary English teaching reform in private university” presided by him won the first prize of Jiangxi Province Teaching Achievement.His main research directions: functional linguistics, discourse analysis, and translation.
