He is currently the president and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the university.

He has undertaken and completed one project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and three projects of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China: he presided over and completed the project of the Guangdong Provincial Major Project "Foshan Professional CNC Technology R&D and Training Comprehensive Service Platform" and the Guangdong Provincial Major Project "Multi-color Complex The project of "R&D and industrialization of automatic tiling equipment for multi-color complex pattern mosaic"; the project of "Development and industrialization of laser-selected melting technology and equipment for large-size complex metal components", which is a major scientific and technological bidding project in Foshan City, and the project of "Inverted ceramic tile polishing", which is a major industry-university research project in Guangdong Province. He has published more than 40 academic papers, obtained 12 invention patents, and won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress of China Aviation Industry Corporation, and the first and second prizes of teaching achievements of Guangdong Province.

He is fully responsible for the administrative work of the university, including personnel, assets, discipline construction (including master's degree application), education and teaching evaluation, and co-management of financial work. He is also in charge of school office, personnel office, finance office, asset office, network information center and keeps in contact with College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, College of Electronics and Information Technology.
