I Training Objectives

This major cultivates high-quality applied and compound senior professional talents who support the party's basic line, develop morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically; and have good scientific and cultural literacy, professional ethics and solid basic cultural knowledge; have the awareness and ability to acquire new knowledge and skills, are able to adapt to the changing work needs, have the basic ability to solve technical problems independently, master the professional knowledge and skills in the development, production, installation, commissioning and maintenance of modern industrial robots; have electronic information engineering, electrical control, sensing technology, computer technology, mechanical design, intelligent control, etcand can be engaged in first-line technical work of high-quality application-oriented industrial robot industry.

II Training Specifications and Requirements

Knowledge Requirements

1. To master the instrumental and technical knowledge of foreign language, computer, scientific writing, scientific and technological methods.

2. To master the knowledge of history, philosophy, politics and other humanities and social sciences.

3. To master the knowledge of mathematics, physics and other natural science.

4. To master the knowledge of economics and management.

5. To master the necessary professional knowledge of mechanical engineering, control science and engineering, electronic science and technology, computer science and technology, as well as the professional knowledge of industrial robot operation and maintenance and comprehensive application of industrial robot.

Capability Requirements

1. To have the ability to acquire knowledge by self-study, expression, literature retrieval and utilization.

2. To have the ability of comprehensive application, comprehensive experiment and engineering practice.

3. To have innovative thinking, innovative practice, scientific research and development ability.

Quality Requirements

1. To have good ideological and moral quality, including politics, ideology, morality, legal system, honesty and so on.

2. To have basic cultural quality, including cultural accomplishment, literature and art accomplishment, modern consciousness, rational thinking, etc.

3. To have good professional quality, mainly including scientific quality and engineering quality.

4. To have good physical and mental quality, including physical and psychological aspects.

 

III  Main Subjects and Core courses

Main subjects: Mechanical Engineering, control science and engineering, electronic science and technology, computer science and technology

Core courses: automatic control principle, motor and drive, microcomputer principle and interface technology, hydraulic and pneumatic, sensor principle and application, artificial intelligence technology foundation, programmable control technology B, computer composition and network, industrial robot installation and maintenance, industrial robot field programming

IV Main Practical Teaching Items

Practice Teaching items: including professional practice, practical training, social investigation, military training, professional centralized training, graduation thesis (Design), etc. The practical teaching items are calculated according to the teaching week and are not included in the total class hours.

V Educational System and Degree

Length of Schooling: four years  

Degree: Bachelor of Engineering

IV Graduation standard

1. To meet the professional knowledge, ability, quality requirements.

2. To complete all teaching items specified in the training program, with total credits no less than 170 points.

3. To obtain no less than 6 credits for innovation and entrepreneurship education.
