I. Training objective

   To cultivate application- oriented senior professional talents who have good ideological quality, solid foundation, strong practical ability, adapt to the needs of economic and social development, have the political quality, psychological quality and physical quality required by the aviation career, have the professional knowledge and ability of aircraft structure and aircraft maintenance, master the basic knowledge of civil aircraft flight, and can engage in aircraft flight field and general aviation field .

II. Training Specifications and Requirements

   The spirit of the ideal, dedication and sense of responsibility to strive for the prosperity of the country and the nation, the quality of unity and cooperation, sound personality, good professional ethics and professionalism.

Graduates should meet the following basic knowledge, basic theory and basic quality requirements:

1. To have the political quality, psychological quality and physical quality required by aviation career;

2. To master the basic theoretical knowledge of aircraft systematically;

3. To master the basic knowledge and flight technology of civil aircraft flight;

4. To master the basic operation skills of modern civil aviation flight;

5. To master the English language ability that meets the international civil aviation standards;

6. To meet the professional quality requirements of pilots.

III. Main Subjects and Core Courses

Main subjects: engineering, aerospace science and technology

Core courses: basic knowledge of aircraft, flight principle, flight performance planning and load balance, flight navigation, aviation meteorology, instrument flight and chart, aviation regulations, pilot radio land air communication, flight English, theory course of airline transport pilot license, flight training course of airline transport pilot.

IV. Main Practical Teaching Items

Main practical teaching items: course experiment, metalworking training, electrical and electronic technology training, aircraft structure practice and graduation design (Thesis), etc.

Flight technology training: simulation flight training, private pilot license training, instrument level training, commercial pilot license training.

V. Educational System and Degree

    This major adopts the "2 + 2" order training mode as the entrusted unit to train pilots, and the basic educational system is four years. The school year credit system is implemented, with a minimum of four years and a maximum of six years (including suspension). The whole cultivation process was divided into three stages

    The first stage is basic theory course, University public course and basic flight theory course;

The second stage is the flight training stage. Students who meet the training requirements are sent to qualified flight training institutions at home and abroad for flight driving training and obtain corresponding licenses;

The third stage is the graduation design (Thesis) stage, students return to school to complete the graduation design (Thesis) and defense.

    Students who have completed all the courses specified in the teaching plan of flight technology major within the prescribed period of study, pass the examination and meet the graduation conditions shall be awarded the certificate of bachelor's degree of "flight technology" by the institute; those who meet the conditions specified in the degree regulations shall be awarded the bachelor's degree of engineering.

VI. Graduation standard

1.To meet the professional knowledge and quality requirements.

2.To complete all the teaching items specified in the training plan, and the total credits shall not be less than 173 points.

3.To obtain no less than 6 credits required in national defense education.
